Ivy’s Primary Program aims to inspire a lifelong love for learning in all students.
Children are born with a natural curiosity and sense of wonder. At Ivy, we believe in harnessing that curiosity through inquiry-based learning.
When students are learning through inquiry, the classroom becomes a dynamic place, buzzing with excitement. In inquiry-based learning, children are introduced to a topic and encouraged to ask questions that are interesting and meaningful to them. They investigate solutions in groups, discuss their ideas, participate in hands-on investigations, and share their learning in a variety of ways. Through this learning process, students become actively involved, fascinated, and engaged in learning. They develop the skills required for future success, such as critical and creative thinking, problem solving, collaboration and communication.
